This third edition of our IKS course (January–April 2019) documents a wide range of India’s ancient technologies, which have often given rise to popular misconceptions. Some of the best scholars in the field will speak on Harappan technologies, town planning, civil engineering, construction techniques, water structures, ceramic, metallurgy, glass, acoustics, textiles, metrology, as well as historical testimonies on such technologies. As a result, Indian civilization emerges as a dynamic, creative one which was able to adapt to very different needs and situations in the course of its long history.
